Felicia Dean, Faculty Member, Interior Architecture 

Awarded at the IDEC 2018 conference with the Best in Category- Design as Art for her presentation: Racial Identity’s Intuitive Influence on the Creative Process. 

Felicia and collaborator Ben Sechrest also had their work in the featured artist exhibition, Visualizing Sound: An Abstraction of Audio, at Center for Visual Artists. In their most recent Design Quarterly, DesignIntelligence acknowledges Khoi Vo and Amanda Gale, two of IARc’s very own faculty members. They are featured in the 25 Most Admired Educators For 2017–18. “Each year, DesignIntelligence honors excellence in education and education administration by naming 25 exemplary professionals in these fields. The 2017–18 class of education role models were selected by DesignIntelligence staff with extensive input from thousands of design professionals, academic department heads, and students. Educators and administrators from the disciplines of architecture, interior design, and landscape architecture are considered for inclusion.” 

Amanda Gale,  Assistant Professor, Interior Architecture

“Gale’s dedication to the interior design program and her students leaves those under her tutelage feeling well prepared for the profession. She is highly regarded for her critiques, her knowledge in sustainable design and her desire to ensure each student has a clear understanding of the subject manner she teaches.” Amanda also completed these certifications: NCIDQ, WELL AP, LEED AP (BD+C).
