APPLY HERE for 2020-2021 IARc Department Scholarships

PLEASE READ:

Applications are DUE no later than the Friday before Spring Break at 4:30 PM.

Some scholarships are based on academic merit alone while others are based on merit and/or financial need. Therefore, in order for final determination to be made regarding scholarships and your eligibility to receive a scholarship based on financial need, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). If you wish to be considered for merit-based scholarships only, you need not complete the FAFSA. Final scholarship awards will be determined by IARc faculty and will be announced in May.

The FAFSA can be obtained online at www.fafsa.ed.gov and questions regarding the FAFSA can be directed to the UNCG Financial Aid Office at 723 Kenilworth Street. 336-334-5702.

UNIVERSITY POLICY:
A scholarship recipient must be enrolled as full-time student (undergraduate – 12 hours; graduate – 6 hours) during the semester(s) for which the scholarship funds are awarded. Scholarship recipients must be declared majors in the Department of Interior Architecture; changing your major will result in cancellation of your scholarship.

Additionally, during the fall semester that your scholarship is applied, you will be provided with your donor’s contact information. It is required that you follow up by writing a thank you note to him/her, and file a copy of this thank you note in the IARc Department Office.
