“When most people think about interior architecture, they think almost exclusively of the visual. But as designers, we need to consider our other senses – sounds, smells, tactile properties. In this third year design studio, we focused on the interaction between sound, material, and space. The students analyzed spatial geometry and material properties, in order to create sound machines, which would respond to a specific environment.” – Professor Stephen Skorski
