On Wednesday, November 9th, two of UNCG’s Interior Architecture students, Ian Waddill and Lauren Hellner, were celebrated at the International Furnishings and Design Association’s 2022 Night of Luminaries & Rising Stars. This event was created to honor the change makers in the home and design industries along with the brightest design students in the Carolinas. According to IFDA: “The Luminary Award is the Carolinas Chapter’s highest honor, recognizing significant and lasting contributions to the home and design industries. We also celebrate Rising Stars, the best design student as selected by their college or university. Whether they study interior design, product design or industrial design, these Rising Stars are the bright lights of our industry’s future.”
The UNCG Department of Interior Architecture could not be more proud or elated that two of our students had the honor of receiving this award!
