UNCG’s Department of Interior Architecture has been providing historic preservation training to North Carolinians since 2000 and is the only program of its kind in the state. With two options for study, individuals at all stages of their academic or professional careers can strengthen their knowledge and training in the preservation of historic resources. Our unique coursework can help rising practitioners meet the National Park Service’s Professional Qualification Standards for the performance of preservation work and is critical to enriching the pipeline of preservationists in the community (in North Carolina).
