Our IIDA student chapter got a chance to network with professionals Thursday night at Storr Office Environments in Greensboro. Steelcase sponsored a CEU about Generation Z as well as another presentation providing information about Social Media and how it can impact your business. The students were able to watch and learn from professionals and how the present to large groups which will be beneficial later on when interviewing or presenting their own projects in class.

Then on Friday afternoon IIDA took a group of students to tour Furnitureland South Showroom in Jamestown, NC. FLS is the largest showroom in North America. During this tour the students got a chance to learn about the building as well as meet several IARc graduates who now work for FLS in different capacities. It’s always great for current students to see past graduates succeeding after college!
