Computer Requirements
A laptop computer is required for Interior Architecture, and it should be compatible with AutoDesk (AutoCAD + Revit), Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, and Enscape. Below are some of the recommended specs suggested to look for in a Windows (PC) computer:
Processor:
- Intel i7- Quad-Core (minimum)
- Intel i7- 6 or 8 core
- Intel i9- 6 or 8 core
- Xeon Quad Core
RAM:
- 16 GB (minimum)
- 32 GB
Graphics Card (dedicated/discrete GPU required)
- NVIDIA or AMD
- 4 GB (minimum)
- 6-8 GB
Storage (SSD recommended):
- 512 GB (minimum)
- 1-2 TB
Screen Size:
- 15″ (minimum)
Computer models often change and include updated model numbers. However, below are some popular models that should be customizable to include the recommended configurations:

Software + Related Expenditures:
Students can choose to wait and make software purchases on an as-needed basis. Each class will notify you of any needed/required software at the beginning of the semester. We also try to inform students of possible discounts and if the purchase will be required or recommended.
