Computer Requirements

A computer is required for Interior Architecture students. Below are the recommended specs suggested to look for in a Windows (PC) computer:

  • NVIDIA RTX 2060
  • AMD Radeon RX / Vega
Dedicated GPU 6-8GB (examples below): 

  • NVIDIA GTX 1080
  • NVIDIA RTX 2070/2080
  • NVIDIA Quadro RTX

 

Below are some popular models that should be customizable to include recommended configurations. However, models often change and include updated model numbers :

  • Lenovo P1 Gen2
  • Microsoft Surface Book 3
  • MSI Creator / Workstation
  • Apple MacBook Pro 16” (will need to install/run Windows using Apple Boot Camp)

Software + Related Expenditures:

Students can choose to wait and make software purchases on an as-needed basis. Each class will notify you of any needed/required software at the beginning of the semester. We also try to inform students of possible discounts and if the purchase will be required or recommended.
